Nissan has showcased the X-Trail at the 2016 Auto Expo. X-Trail was the first Nissan car model to launch in India at 2004.The Production of X-Trail was discontinued in 2014 due to its low demand in the Indian market. The new X-Trail is more of an on-road performer than off-roader. It will feature Nissan's electronic 4WD system that can be operated on the go. It is likely to be powered by Nissan's 2.0-litre DCI engine and also come with a CVT gearbox.  L ike the earlier car, Nissan will bring the new X-Trail as an import and local assembly has been ruled out in the short term. This means, the new SUV is expected to be quite expensive and according to sources, the company is planning to price it in the region of Rs 32-35 lakh. This makes the X-Trail costlier than its immediate rivals, the Hyundai Santa Fe and Honda CR-V, which could make it difficult for Nissan to sell the X-Trail in large numbers.

The waiting game continues for Honda/Acura’s NSX successor, but now we at least have some official data to chew on as the Japanese automaker has revealed the 2017 model year sports car’s performance figures. The production NSX was revealed back in January at the Detroit Motor Show before the brand announced it would be delayed to go on sale in the spring of next year, instead of the fall. Honda cited engineering difficulties as the cause of the delay, but whenever it does go on sale, it will boast more power than originally anticipated. A mid-mounted 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 will make 500 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque, while a rear-mounted electric motor and two front-mounted motors will add a combined 73 hp and 70 lb-ft of torque to the mix. The Audi R8 in its latest avatar looks sharper, is quick and loud, handles well and comes with an excellent new gearbox. It’s got all the elements you look for in a no-nonsense, everyday supercar that’s extremely civilised both on and off the track. But Audi wasn’t content with just that, so it has raised the bar further with the launch of a more powerful and lightweight version of the R8, the V10 Plus. The Plus variant you see here may not stand out from the ‘regular’ V10, at first. But a closer inspection reveals all the carbon fibre parts used inside out. Power comes via the Lamborghini-sourced 5.2-litre V10 FSI motor, which now revs all the way up to 8700rpm and churns out max power of 542bhp and 540Nm of torque – that’s 24bhp and 10Nm more than the older V10 variant.
